“It is a once in a lifetime experience, it is super fun and you improve a lot from many perspectives. So many good things happen if you live it in a positive way, that I cannot even put it into words. If I could do it again, I would say: YES, a million times!

My family and I clicked right away, having therefore a great time from day 1. Expectations were high, but my host family really “over-achieved”!

My suggestions to new exchange students: Be open minded and very outgoing, if you are not, make an effort, because you have to make one if you want to live your experience to the fullest. Be willing to help at any time with housework, and be interested in your family`s life. Share your feelings with them and be honest so they will be able to help you. If you have a problem mention it to them.”
