Student admission
Student selection is rigorous and involves the following
- Evaluation of academic performance:
- School records of last 3 years and of current school performance are reviewed to insure high academic standards and performance
- Interview and testing by a qualified school counselor to assess:
- Motivation
- Desire and capacity to integrate in the American hosting family
- Adaptability to new environments and situations
- Maturity and responsibility
- Problem solving capability
- English knowledge assessment:
- “Eltis test”: A minimum score of 222 out of 265 required. Our students usually rank far higher, with an average score of 242.
Our students come from top high schools in Milan, Como, Bergamo, Brescia, Genoa, Pisa and Rome.
